there should be a radio code, like a serial number for your xm radio, maybe in your owner's manual. all you do is call xm with this code and have it activated.

To my understanding you have a timing chain on this engine. If so, there is no recommended changing period unless you have a problem.

If your vehicle has a info button which it should, you would press the info button repeatedly until you reach the oil change, oil filter and tire rotation intervals. Once you reach the oil change you should be able to press enter and then toggle down until reset is highlighted and then press enter again. Same thing for the other maintenance intervals. I couldn't program the first one, but I was able to program the 2nd button. I programmed it from the main system and not the remote. I also had a hard time programming remote to homelink.
