You need to loosen the motor mount slightly--just a full turn or two. Place a jack under the oil pan and lift the engine until the strain is relieved on the motor mount and finish removal. Replacement installation is the opposite except you'll want to tighten the new motor mount into place fully (if possible) before lowering the jack.

Why does my 2008 nissan sentra does not get good accelerstion when i put it into drive

There are a few possible reasons why your 2008 Nissan Sentra might not be accelerating well when you put it into drive. Some possible causes include:
  1. The transmission fluid is low or needs to be changed. The transmission relies on a certain amount of fluid to operate smoothly, and if the fluid is low or dirty, it can cause the transmission to shift poorly or not engage at all.
  2. The spark plugs or other ignition components are worn or damaged. The engine relies on the spark plugs to ignite the air/fuel mixture in the cylinders, and if the spark plugs are worn or damaged, it can cause the engine to misfire and lose power.
  3. The fuel filter is clogged or dirty. The fuel filter is responsible for removing contaminants from the fuel before it reaches the engine, and if the filter is clogged or dirty, it can restrict the flow of fuel and cause the engine to lose power.
  4. The engine or transmission mounts are worn or damaged. The engine and transmission are mounted to the chassis of the vehicle with rubber mounts, and if these mounts are worn or damaged, it can cause the engine and transmission to shift or move excessively, which can cause poor acceleration.
If you are experiencing poor acceleration with your 2008 Nissan Sentra, it is best to have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic to diagnose the issue and recommend a solution. They will be able to diagnose the problem and recommend the appropriate repairs.

2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8 with bad engine rattle it started with a tapping sound but increased to more like shaking a BB in a empty pop can.

might be the thermostat for the radiator to engine is sticking or broken for the heater problem. could be the fan/blower connections? so many things here? the heat could be the thermstat or the heater core are bad. the rattling noise could be in the trans-axle depending if auto or manual? also, a sensor could cause this noise? depending on where it is? find where it is located and then respond. could be oil not getting up to the top of engine where cam can make noise. so many possibilities.

My 2005 crown Vic makes a popping noise when put in gear and a popping noise whe

If the "popping" noise comes from underneath the car, you may have a worn U-joint on the drive shaft. If it is coming from the front of the car, it is probably a broken or weak engine mount ("motor mount").

Starts does not accelerate

check that you have the wiring for the accelerator position sensor connected properly.

My 2007 Nissan sentra starts making a whining noise after driving for roughly 10min. When I accelerate harder the noise gets louder and has a higher pitch. When i let off of the accelerator the noise...

i would first check your surpentine belt to see if it is getting burnt up, most whining sounds are an indication of a bad pully either from the alternator, compressor, pwr steering pump, tensioner, idler pully,ect.ect., i would take the belt off and spin the pullys by hand untill you find wich one is bad

I have 2004 Sentra. There is a loud knocking in the front end when driving over bumps. Struts were replaced last year, so I am wondering if the noise might be a strut, en engine mount, or sway bar mount....

start by looking at all the bushings on the front end, leave the car in gear and rock it to check engine movement, use a prybar to check for movement in the bushings, you'll find it

Thinking of buying a 07 Nissan Sentra 4dr Sedan, car inspection noted: " mild noise while driving sounds like valve train or injectors noise" Is this a major concern?

You bet it can be a major concern. It may be a minor issue but it may be a major problem. Why take a chance? There are plenty of used cars out there with no problems. Walk away from this car and do not look back.

1994 Nissan Altima shakes while idling

Broken or worn out engine mounts will cause allot of engine vibration in drive at idle, reverse also, change all 4 the mounts, not just the 2 broken ones. As far as slow acceleration no mounts will not cause that, Have you reached the 100,000 mile recommended tune up? have you ever replaced the fuel filter, this is required every 30,000, let me know.
