There should be a large fuse in the fuse box.It may say main,or start,or something like that.If not there is a fusible link, made like a wire, but will pull apart like taffy. It will be located off the starter(the large cable will be mounted with it)or on a positive junction where a few cables and large wires are.Follow the positive cable until you find the fusible link, and replace it.

How to jump off a BMW 325CI

The battery for your car is located in the trunk. There are jumper terminals located under the hood in the front of your car. There is a Red (+) terminal that is under a little black cover on the passenger side of the engine bay near the firewall. Right near that is a silver/gray bolt that is bolted to the frame of the car. This is the negative terminal.

Make sure both cars are and all accessories are off:
1) Connect the Postive cable to the dead battery
2) Connect the Positive cable to the good (BMW) terminal
3) Connect the Negative cable to the good (BMW) terminal
4) Connect the Negative cable to the dead battery
5) Start the BMW. (if you have 2 people then gently rev the engine)
6) Start the dead car.
7) Let both cars idle for a while before disconnecting any cables
8) Remove in the opposite order.

Where to connect jumping cables on the battery

Dead car --- Red to + ... Black to -

Hot car --- Red to + ... Black to any metal car part away from the battery. Let the hot car charge the battery for a couple minutes before you try it. Try it. IMPORTANT: DISCONNECT THE HOT CAR BLACK JUMPER FIRST, then take the black off the dead car. Then disconnect the dead car red and then the other end on the hot car.

What could be dragging my battery down after 2 days of not starting it?

Lots of stuff. An after market alarm, malfuntioning radio, bad battery, bad door pin switch for the interior lights. Best thing to do is charge the battery if it's in fact good, thenunhook the negative battery cable & connect a test light from the disconnected cable to the negative battery post. If it's a nice bright light it's got a draw. If it's really dim, that's the memory for the computer,anti-theft,radio memory. I mean dim, like barely lit! That's ok. If you don't have a test light disconnect the negative cable & touch it to the negative battery post a few times & if there's a big spark, there's a draw. If there's a draw & there's nothing on in the car, like an interior light, etc, than start with the inside the car fuse box & while holding the open door pin switch test each fuse for power. If anything has power that shouldn't with the key off that's where to start. Do the same for the under the hood box as well but disconnect the hood light. If you are using the Viper alarm system, junk the system. That alarm causes your problem & in alot of cases a fire.

I cant figure out how to jump start my 1993 BMW 325is

Either hook the jumper cables to the battery in the trunk or hook the postive to the postive stud under the hood( passenger side near the firewall) and the ground to the block.

@001 GMC Safari, No fan for A/C or heater, lights

Fusible link is in the main battery 12v wire somewhere between the battery and the fuse block. However, if that blew, the truck will be dead. I really depends where the lift wire was connected, and as you pointed out, that is bad as it may have burned out the wire it's connected to - focus on that connection and the other systems on it.

2002 Taurus won't start.

all I had to do on a sable was to replace the belt but look at the battery there should be a wire coming from the battery going to another solenoid mounted under the hood and then going down to the starter get a 12 volt tester and see if you have power going to this solenoid cause it could be dead on one end and not going down to the starter
