2004 F150 Heritage. Has a rough idle and wants to stall when you come to a stop. I've changed the plugs, fuel filter and air filter but it sill wants to stall at low idle. Once it gets past 1500 rpms its fine.

Not only the coil packs, but check the connections to the heater core...they sometimes leak a tiny bit of fluid that ends up on the coil, shorting it. If you change the coil packs, check those heater core connections, too.

2004 Ram 1500 Hemi 5.7 roughidle and stall on deceleration

it sometimes stalls when decelerating. Here are a few possible causes for these issues:

1. Vacuum leak: Check for any vacuum leaks in the engine. A leaking vacuum hose or intake manifold gasket can cause a rough idle and stalling. Inspect all vacuum hoses and fittings, and consider using a smoke machine to help identify any leaks.

2. Idle Air Control (IAC) valve: The IAC valve controls the amount of air entering the engine during idle. If it becomes dirty or faulty, it can cause a rough idle. Try cleaning the IAC valve with an appropriate cleaner or consider replacing it if necessary.

3. Fuel system issues: A clogged fuel filter or a malfunctioning fuel pump can lead to insufficient fuel delivery at idle, causing rough idling and stalling. Consider inspecting and replacing the fuel filter if necessary. It may also be worth checking the fuel pressure to ensure it is within the manufacturer's specifications.

4. Mass Air Flow (MAF)

2002 accent stalls and has a rough idle

During rough idling, when the clutch is released due to high rpm of the engine, the engine may stalls. Another possible reason due to quick release of clutch pedals.

First tune the idling of the engine. Look for the cleaness of the air filter, Fuel lines are clear for free flow. Check the spark plugs for free from carbons and gaps are maintained correctly.

When slowing down the car change to appropriate gears and netural the gears when about to stop.
