Changed right front tire now reads zero on dash light is on

Use this if you're installing winter wheels/tires that have sensors already installed, or even if you are just doing a tire rotation. Not sure if this has been posted before. I tried searching but didn't see it posted anywhere. No need to go and buy the TPMS learning tool.

1) Make sure your tiresare inflated to the recommended psi. Mine is 40psi.

2) Turn ignition to the on position. If you have a push button start, push the start button without pressing the brake pedal.

3) Push the hazard light button 6 times. The horn should honk and you should see "Train left front tire" in the LCD display between the tach and speedo.

4) Release air pressure in the front left tireuntil you hear the horn honk. The LCD display should now read "Train right front tire".

5) Release air pressure in the right front tire until you hear the horn honk.

6) Repeat for the the right rear tire, and then the left rear tire.

7) You should now see "Training Complete" in the LCD display.

8) Fill your tiresback up to the recommended pressure.

check the dash is sitting right, push on the dash. if this fixes it then you have a bad connection to the board pins on the back. if not there is a board in the dash that has failed usually down to a capacitor going, this age being a 91 model it dont cost a;lot for the capacitor/s to be changed but you will need some sodering skills to replace it/them.

Wheel speed sensor may have been damaged. Inspect and run tests at link below.

You need to reset the low tire pressure fault waring, this can be a defective sensor. Read the procedure below.
Replace sensors as required.
Clear DTCs by grounding DLC (under dash in front of driver) terminal 6 to 5, three times in ten seconds.
Receiver/control module will confirm that its memory has been cleared by illuminating both the "L0W/FLAT TIRE" and "SERVICE LTPWS" lamps at the same time. Both lamps will remain ON until the ignition is turned to the OFF position and then back to "ON".

RF sensor MUST be color code BLUE.
If you still get codes, read out the DTCs by connecting DLC terminal 6 to 5 to flash LTPWS. Look for 23, 33, 43, 53 or 24, 34, 44, 54. Right front is LOW TIRE DTC 53 and WHEEL SENSOR DTC 54.

All codes will be preceded with DTC 12. DTC 99 is possible receiver fault.

either a new tyre valve sensor or the reciever ,but in the snow it could have got too cold for the electronics to work ,you might find that when it warms up it will work ok

Tire pressure should be set at 32 PSI on all the tires. There is also a reset button to reset the TPMS,
To reset this system, you press a button to zero the system on the dash or through the on-board computer. If one of your tires is underinflated while trying to zero it, then you will not have a correct reading. Before you try to recalibrate the system, make sure your tires are set to the correct pressure spec.
It's under the dash, to the right side of the steering column. Slide your hand around under there & you'll find it.

low tire pressure warning one or more of your tires has less than the recommended air pressure.

Freezing weather below around 20degrees sends mixed readings. Sometimes all together. Readings of zero are common and may only be in one or even all your tire pressures

Because of changing outside temps this happens, just hold reset button on left side of dash until it reads tire pressure 100% again, just make sure your pressure is right before you do it. this is the same for oil changes and the like.

Rear wheel bearing has collapsed.... Replace it iced brakes won't put the ABS light on. Dead bearing will!!!!
