Why only left turning signal not blinking only when headlights on? green arrow pointing left seen but not blinking. When headlights off, both turning signals work perfectly,

It sounds as though you have a wiring problem around that particular light/signal.

Check the black earth leads to the light and the signal - it may be nothing more than a 'bad earth' due to corrosion where the earth wire connects to metal.

Check the main power wires, too. It should be an easy fix .. make sure the wires are clean and secure

I installed a new radio in my 1998 acura cl but when i put the dash back in place my turning signals and hazards stopped working.....what's wrong and how can i fix it?.....thanks in advance for your help

This means that the plug for the hazard switch is not pushed in all the way. The turn signals will not work when the emergency flashers are disconnected.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm the smartest guy on the block and just knew this. I actually had the center console apart on my 99 3.0CL and had to drive it with everything disconnected. The first thing I noticed was that the turn signals did not work.

Im trying to fix my turning signals light what could stop them from working?

Hello...

A couple of things could stop them from working. A relay, called a flasher could be bad... The turn signal switch assembly could be bad... Or a bulb or wiring could be bad....

Good Luck

1998 Lincoln TC no brake or hazard lights work.

Hazard light switch... They all intermingle in operation.
My ex wifes 96TC was doing the same thing... I could OCCASIONALLY get the hazards to work by turning the hazard switch on/off like 10 times in a row and suddenly it would fix... finally bought a new switch

Turn signals stopped working on my car

sounds like you have a faulty turn signal switch. in your car the same lever can control lots of things, turn signals, bright headlights, flash to pass, not sure that's all, maybe the wipers too. so gm calls that thing a multifunction switch. can you change it yourself? maybe. will it be easy? depends on what else you have done. you have to take the steering wheel apart to get to it. i think your car is new enough to have airbags, so you have to deal with that. if you are still interested in doing it yourself i can give you a play by play, just trying to let you know you do run the risk of deploying the airbag so you need to decide if you think it's worth it.

My turn signals will blink very fast until I jiggle the turn signal arm, sometimes turning on the bright lights accidentally. Now only the back left blinker (turn signal) will not come on until I jiggle...

check ur connection....check ur light bulbs front and back and replace the ones who dont work....also undo the stearing casing and look for loose or broken wire...if problem cant be fixed bring it to a auto electrician....
good luck

Impala 2000 directional lights(turn signal) isn't working

Try turning the flashers on and off repeatedly. If this make the turn signals work the switch is bad.Call a dealer and ask about a recall I had an 2002 doing the same thing and the dealer fixed it for free. Not sure how many years they had this problem Good luck
