My 1995 Acura Integra starts running roughly at 3500 rpms. Kept below 3500 rpms, it runs fine with no problems. It just started doing this. Never before. It seems there is somekind of govenor that kicks in at 3500 rpms. How can I get rid of it?

If the fuel filter hasn't been changed in the last 2 years, that is a good place to start. Also, have you given it a full tune-up recently? those are the easy suggestions. Typically the major stuff shows up with a "check engine light" indication. My '97 Civic acted similarly to this, and it ended up being the fuel filter(at 167,00 miles). Cap/rotor/plugs or other ignition system faults will also limit high rev performance. When in doubt, Autozone will check your computer system for no charge if you're concerned about sending good money after bad.

1991 acura integra stalls or wont start runs rough

Integra stalls because you need a tune-up. And have the timing checked. I bet you need a new distributor too. And have the ECM (car computer) checked as well.

A/C turn on full blast and the engine starts to lose power then shuts down on a 95 acura integra ls automatic?

Possibly a charging problem. Hook a battery tester to it and run it. See if you're getting 14 amps and see what happens when you turn on the AC.

Okay I have a 1990 Acura integra gs hatchback. When I first crank it up its fine then when I go it cuts out and spits and sputtered and almost stalls. And acts like it starves for fuel. But when I push...

Yo, Codi. Your problem is a bad EGR diaphragm. It's a bad vacuum leak making it do what you've explained. Replace the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve and this won't happen any more. Good power on demand.

My integra bogs down at higher rpms

First run a tank of a strong fuel system cleaner like BG-44K. If that doesn't help, clean the throttle body. If that doesn't help, take it to a mechanic.

2001 acura integra coupe won't start. already replaced the ecu, the battery is good....don't know what else it could be other than the started? any suggestions?

Ck the maf sensor. First sensor in duct leacving air cleaner. It controls fuel.
chk the crank sensor above cranksgaft fron pulley It controls the spark and timong.
Listen for your fuel pump running with key on. Mounted in the fuel tank.

92 Acura Integra GS

If some one disconnected the alarm, and did not do it all the way, this definatly will cause a problem, you cannot only remove half of an alarm, the whole things need to be removed.
