I have just bought a 2003 Ford Focus. My remaining fuel gauge was working fine and then i pressed the reset button whilst driving -since then it no longer shows how many miles are left. How can I get it working again? Thanks

If you have your stereo code you need to disconnect the negative side of the battery and while its dissconnected you need to turn the ignition to the start position a couple of times and then reconnect the battery this should discharge any residual electricity now when you turn your ignition on your dash instruments should reset

2003 Ford Focus ZX-5: Brake lights stuck on

Check the lights on the 3rd brake light. If the bulbs are out the brake lights will remain on when in gear, but work properly when in park. I had the same problem had to go to Napa to get bulbs (5) and now all is fine.

I have a 2003 ford focus SE. I am having problems

In my opinion it sounds like a problem from inside the fuel tank but don't quote me on this. With multiple sensors and switches related to fuel movement throughout the vehicle you're truly better off having a professional deal with this, unfortunately it will cost a few dollars.

Speedometer, water temp gauge, and fuel gauge inop. odometer, trip meter also inop. 2003 ford focus

A common problem on the 2003 focus are the electrics, i had a problem recently where the displays where not functioning, i took off the panel, checked the iso connector and before putting it back in i gave it a quick spray with wd40 and it al seemed to work, been in contact with the garage and for a new unit with callibration you are looking about £140 or so with labour and parts
