Take to a shop that has the proper gauges and ability to vacuum the system properly. Do not simply try and add Freon as it only causes an air gap and false readings. In addition, some cars require a resetting of values on the cars computer brain in order to function properly.
sounds like your feeling air flow from motion your blower dosen't sound like its coming on try when you are sitting still with car running turnibg on the blower if it dosen't come on it could be anything from a bad fuse to a bad blower motor
Not a problem. I'm glad to help. As far as the vents, yes they run by vacuum. If the blend door or other door isn't opening or closing, you could draw cold air from one vent and warm in another.
Give it a try and let me know if you find anything. If you can't, I'll see if I can dig a vacuum diagram for the system ,may be you can find your problem www.xcardiag.com
The actuator that 'blends' cold with hot is stuck in the cold position. There are a couple of options. Disconnect the battery, then drive the vehicle around without using the AC for 10 min, if the AC is defaulted to come on after a battery interuption, then shut the car down then turn it on again. You are trying to get the electronic actuator to reset and resume proper function. Another option is to try this: Start the car, adjust the pax side full hot, drivers full cold, wait 30 sec then shut car down, then start car back up and reverse the settings, pax full cold, drivers full hot. In both solutions, the vent actuators are stuck at either the full open or full closed, so you are trying to get it to 'self check' and allow them to resume proper function. After two years, I simply removed them altogether since I live where it is hot an only need cold.works just fine....
Sounds like you may have a stuck or broken blend door, could be your controls as well. Have you tried different settings (i.e. floor, front, floor+front)?
