Every vent in my car works just fine, however the floor vents won't. If you try to turn it to floor, it just blows out like it's defrosting.
It's a 2002 Toyota Avalon, it's been doing this for about 2 years now. Any help? Please?
When you turn the dial to the floor vents, do you hear anything. You should hear a flap or something move after the dials been turned. There's a flap (direction control) just above the blower behind the passenger side dash. This directs the air to where it's supposed to go. It sounds like yours may have come loose
Testimonial: "How hard is it to get to that to fix the flap? I'm semi-handy with new cars. I've done plenty of work on old Mopars so I think I might be able to fix "
