drain and refill will take you about 4 quarts. a liter is 0.89 of a quart .... in other words a quart is almost 1/10th short ( a little less) of a liter. oil you could use any oil that compatible with the rating of the transmission. Oct 4, 2017
Transmission oil capacity Nissan Y11 2003 (QG15 Engine)
SOLUTION. I Had Nissan Serena C24 of 2000 with similar Problem of Loosing power after Long drive in Highway or climbing hills or during Hot Days.. The Catch is The Transmission Fluid gets high temperature and the pulley bands or chain of CVT Transmission fails to shift hence Car stalls. Solution is to use The large Transmission Cooler to assist the Cooling. Me I bought two Mitsubish pajero Oil coolers, went to mechanics fixed them in transmission cooling system in front and Add about 1L of Transmission Fluid And the Problem ended. All the best
Is this an automatic or manual transmission? If automatic it goes into the transmission dipstick tube, if manual where is a fill plug under the car on the side of the transmission case. You will need a suction lube gun to put the gear lube into the manual transmission, fill to just below the fill plug threads. If auto make sure the transmission is hot to the touch before adding fluid, DO NOT OVERFILL EITHER TYPE OF TRANSMISSION, THIS GOES DOUBLE FOR THE AUTOMATIC GEARBOX.
you need to warm up your tranny by driving a good ten minutes or so then look for a squar nut or square input nut then drain and fill level with hole with new gear-lube not oil if manual tranny
I assume its a standard transmission.
Should be a threaded plug on the top of trans , or 1/2 way up on the side.
If auto trans , add fluid through dipstick tube.
