Did u check both fuse panel one under the hood the other in the cab under or on the side of the dash. Also sometimes the switch inside the stearing wheel will short or just stop working due to dust or excessive force. If the car has a drivers air bag it will be costly to replac this switch due to the explosives used in the air bag deployment system. good luck and good hunting

Horn relay location 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme LS 2-Door Coupe

If I remember correctly, it should be on the passenger side of the firewall next to the fuel pump relay. Kind of oval shaped with 3 wires.

2000 CRV horn not working. Took test light hooked to metal and probed a terminal in horn circuit and horn beeped. Bad ground? Clockspring? Any ideas?

1 , fuse , 2 , ground , 3 , relay , 4 , button it self . Pull the wire off the horn and with the clip end hooked to a GOOD ground . probe the wire that you removed and have someone push the horn button and see if it has power .to light the test light . If it dosent ,, then take the clip and hook it to battery positive and probe the wire again . Sometimes they use ground from the button to activate it . . Hope that helps .

Horn stopped working. how to fix?

Check to see if there is 12 volts at the horn positive connection when someone pushes the horn button on the steering wheel. If there is voltage, and no sound, you need a new horn. If there is no voltage when the horn button is pressed, you need to troubleshoot the rest of the electrical circuit. First look in your fuse box for a blown horn fuse. Then try replacing the horn relay.

How can you use wire going to the horn from the relay and put on a push button switch

Find the wire at the bottom of the steering column that comes down from the horn button, or locate the wire at the horn relay.. Cut this wire and splice it to a wire that goes to one side of a push button switch. Connect the other side of the switch to the metal chassis of the car, which is ground. A metal part of the dashboard frame will usually work. Then when you press the button, it will activate the relay and sound the horn.

Horn does not operate

I would check for the following:
1. Fuse
2. Relay
3. Wiring
4. Horn itself (disconnect it from the car, use a wire to connect to horn and tap it directly to the battery, if it horns then it is ok, if not probably need a replacement.
5. Push button on the steering wheel
6. Rotor contact on the steering wheel

Horn dosent work cant find relay 95 saturn sl2 2 wire horn

Could be the switches inside the steering wheel. But much easier to swap the relay first and remove it as a possibility. You can also jump 12 volts directly from the battery to the horn with a long heavy wire just to make sure the horn is good. Saturn relays are to the left of the passenger's knee
behind a velcro fastened panel.

Replaced relays and ckecked fuses horn not working 1996explorer

with the horn you can run a wire from the battery to the horn to check it if that dosent work then it is probably the contact wire inside the steering column, I cant remember the name of the part but this should fix the horn and cruise problem.
