HEAD TORQUE AND SPECS FOR A 2001 HONDA ACCORD 2.3L

Tighten the cylinder head bolts. Tighten the cylinder head bolts is sequence to 29 Nm (3.0 kgf-m, 22 ft. lbs.). Use a beam-type torque wrench. When using a preset type torque wrench, be sure to tighten slowly and do not overtighten. If a bolt makes any noise while you are torquing it, loosen the bolt and retighten it. Make sure the threads are clean, new heads bolts are best.

2000 honda civic sir 1.6 dual cam vtec head torque and head bolt location

The Head bolts are located below the cams, so you have to take the cams out to get to the bolts.
The torque specs for the head bolts in sequence is 20, 40, then end at 63ft lbs. Be sure to apply anti sieze or dip the head bolts in oil, before you torque them down or you might pull out the threads. (Not a good thing TRUST ME!)
Hope this helps.

Head bolt torque specs and sequence for early 350 malibu motor

There are two different torque specs for this engine depending on which bolts you are torquing. This engine uses three different length bolts, the two sets of longer bolts can be torqued to 70 foot pounds, the short set of bolts that go along the bottom of the head should be torqued to 65 foot pounds. Head surface and block surface should be clean, straight and the a new head gasket should be used.

An easy way to guide yourself in the proper sequence is to make a cheat sheet of sorts. Take the headgasket and piece of cardboard about the same size. Using the headgasket as a template, mark each of the bolt holes on the cardboard with a sharpee marker, pencil or pen. Also outline the headgasket and mark the top of your drawing. Now starting from the center bolt as number 1, move either to the right or left, up or down to the next bolt hole and mark that as number 2. Now move to the bolt hole diagonally across from number 2, past Number 1 and mark it as number 3. Continue this sequence of moving diagonally back and forth across the headgasket outline until all of the bolt holes are marked with a number. What you are trying to do is start at the center of the head tightening it down in steps of about 15 foot pounds moving out from the center.

I have built a lot of these engines over the years and they are very forgiving of the head torquing sequence. As long as you start at the center and move out left and right, up and down alternating back and forth, you will have no problems. As a final check once you are done, check the torque on each head bolt to make sure you have not missed one. This does not have to be done in any sequence and you will then be sure that you have it completed properly. Good luck.

I need to know how much pounds is apliied to a 350 chevy cylinder heads

What is the year and model of your vehicle?

On a 1968 Chevy 350 small block it is 60-70 ft/lbs with sealant applied

When torqueing the heads, it is helpful to start at around 25 ft. lbs. and torque all the bolts, then go to 50 ft. lbs., and finally, your specified torque. Doing this in increments will help give a nice even torque to the heads

Head bolt torque

They have this listed under a 2007 E-350 but I new it couldn't be. Any how the torque specs are as follows. The big bolts 1-26 are to be torqued first they are torqued to 120 ft. lbs. then rechecked to 120 ft. lbs. Then tightened 1/4 turn or 90 degrees. After that that loosen all the bolts up till the washers are loose again then perform the exact sequence all over again. After that tighten the small bolts on the outside part of the cylinder head all 7 of them to 20 ft. lbs. Good luck.
