Broken power outlet 2006 ford focus (recently bought used)

Let me ask a few questions: The items mentioned, radio, clock and power outlet...are these the only items not working? does the instrument panel light? Also , does the cigar lighter work? Lastly check fuse # 7(40A) in the battery junction box

I am not a mechanic but when we replaced one on my Moms Chrysler we were told all we had to do was disconnect it from the power source for 10 min and it would reset itself. Call you local dealer service department or parts department, they are usually pretty good about answering this type question.

1- check fuse panel - with be aux power or courtesy power (check owners manual)

common problem,the base gets corroded to the fitting,once the glass has broken,use pliers to twist and pull out.

My 2006 ZXW SES has worn front end linkages @ 48000 km, being replaced today, not covered by warranty according to Ford dealer

its quite quite simple;take your pipes of and block them off reconnect them to new pump and replace pump to in line belts.adrian;;;

Check fluid level could be low.

It maybe the seatbelt connection fault as some fords don't all have an illumination on dashboard

can you check with parts department at ford and see if thy can
otherwisw check with autozone
