If I recall the timing marks are on the top section of the transmission housing. There's a small half circle cutout and you'll see them imprinted on the flywheel.

There are no timing marks on this engine. This repair does seem scary the first time around but isn't bad at all. You will need to buy a timing tool kit for this repair. If you don't own a repair manual the instructions will come with the new timing belt kit.
Set the crank to 0 degrees according to the timing marks on the damper, look on the cam pulley for a mark and line it up with the mark on the head. Put the belt on WITHOUT moving the cam or the crank.
according to picture belt already off rotate crank to timing mark and position injector pump mark to dot and camshaft pully to dot loosen tensioner and fit belt being careful not to shift marks. Fit belt and release tensioner. rotate engine clockwise a couple of turnsand check if dots still line up. readjust tensionor to belt and refit covors etc...
