How do I fix a broken outer door handle on he drivers side?

How do I fix a broken outer door handle. For a Mazda Tribute 2002? I don't think it is broken. I felt something slip out of the handle and heard it fall on inside the door.It's the handle on the drivers side.

I have taken off the inner side panel but can't find anything,I really don't know where to look for it.

I have already replaced the inner door handle on the drivers side for my car a while ago, but now the outside handle needs to be fixed.

Please help.

    The lock cylinder is still firmly secured in the keyhole.

    Would you be so kind to give me instructions or schematics where i have to look for?

    Where do I look for the linkage?

    Please help.

Is there anything connecting the handle to the door latch assembly? Is the lock cylinder in the key hole and secured? It just sounds like the linkage may have slipped off the door handle

    The handle is hanging by the left plastic tab,no lock hole in handle.must take panel off,window up and inspect! Thanks Ron

take the panel and the plastic sheathing off and look for the door lacth you might need a flashlight it might be that the latch came loose from the plastic piece that holds it in or the plastic peice is broken if it is get a new one

What is the correct tire pressure for a mazda tribute with these tires 245/70/R16
First of all, don't exceed the maximum pressure that is marked on the tire.
Most cars have the tire size and tire pressure listed on a tag on the inside of the front door or the door jam. Usually the driver's side.
If you can't find the "official" tire pressure on the door or the owner's manual, you are pretty safe using between 30 and 35psi. I keep my 2002 Escape at 35psi.

Linkage broken?... only way to find out is INSPECT the system. Have you done this?.. If not, SOLUTION!.. Take vehicle to Mazda and have it PROPERLY diagnosed -- this way you'll know what's wrong and what's needed to FIX it. AGREED?
