2009 X5 My display screen is upside down. I just got it back from being detailed. I rebooted the computer twice did not resolve.

There isn't one. The gauge is controlled by the ECU, the ECU reads the temperature sensor.

Have the injectors checked out .The fault codes will show up on a diagnostic computer.

read the code to see what caused the failsafe to engage.

Disconnect the battery for a minimum 24 hours, giving the computer time to reset when reconnected.

You just have to be forceful when pushing the seat back and down at same time. It WILL latch in position when you do this.

No idea but jeremy clarkson of top gear even took one to australia to try it upside down and didnt stick ,but in your case i would assume that something plastic has broke inside the catch and no doubt the only way is renew it ,but you need to open it first and for this then a big screwdriver and wrench it open

have u checked the owners manual?

sound like throttle position sensor.have it check out.also check air duct connected to mass air flow sensor and throttle body.if air duct is loose or off.it will cause severe hesitation.

sounds like your car has the multi function steering wheel, i know on the 7 and 5 series they come out of sync, im not sure why.
its about £75 to get plugged in at the dealers and they reprogram it, sometimes i have had the odd car with a damaged slip ring, it does all sorts of things, 1 in particular kept on beeping the horn,
i would say if u got 1 urs got upset when battery flat.
