I believe this is a sealed unit. The transmission cares a 10 year or 100 thousand warranty.

I would take back to Kia if you are having transmission issues.

If you are using it for the transmission then you will have to fill it up with transmission fluid.

What kind of fluid do I put into the transmission of a 1988 GMC S-15. I know the transfer case takes transmission fluid, but does the transmission take 80/90W or transmission fluid?

Any high quality brand name trans fluid is fine. I have a preference for Quacker State.

When driveing my car down the road the tranmission is in second gear when i am getting ready to go to third gear i push the gas a bit the rev goes to 2 and sits there for a second then the car would lurge...

When was the last time the trans fulid and filter was changed? Sounds like the filter in the trans is dirty. And if left over time will damage the transmission. Transmission fulid and filter should be changed every 35,000 to 45,000 miles. And it could be the shifting module on top of the trans (Netural Park switch)

How do you check auto trans fulid with no dip stick

if it has no dipstick on the car anywhere it is what they call a world standard type tranny and will have to be done at a tranny shop or at dealer because the car has to be lifted in the air while running to check and ad fluid.

Lost all my gears in the transmission...changed the fluid and filter, still it wont go. could it be the sensor?

no a sensor would cause poor shifts or missed shifts, but never a dead trans, you are going to need to replace or overhaul the transmission.

Swap 5 speed neon trans to 5 speed talon

Check the bolt pattern on both transmissions. they should be a match but may need a washer to make up for the depth of the neon trans
