P0118 is Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High voltage input. It could just be the sensor.

My Dodge Interpid, 1997 model is always overheating. I've been change the waterpump, the fan motor and the radiator as well but the problem is still unsolved.....

you could have a head gasket problem, pull the sparkplugs and check their color any light color like tan on the plugs indicate coolant getting into the combustion , then do a coolant pressure test, it should hold pressure, also make sure the antifreeze is good, water alone will just boil
