Remove the hub cap and try again. if not start looking at the brake parts. With the wheel off look at it for crakes and if you find any thanks those that led you to find it that it could save you or someone a very bad day. put on the spare and drive to see if fixed. the brake parts just grabb and wiggle any looseness is the noise bolts busing pads springs or mounting hareware missing fell off left off at the last brake job. put back like new and do the other side the same no matter if its good or not this is not a place to save money. Used wheel will be fine if you can find the right ones The junk yards tend to be the best place to get a new wheel as they get more calls than any one else

The wheel bearing is starting to go or the control arms , sway bar links, to the suspension . I would take to the mechanic to check out.

Snapping sound from front left tire

I'm thinking you have a cv (constant velocity) joint problem.. If so, you'll most likely need to take it to a shop. The cv joints are the joints in the drive axles coming out the side of your trans-axle and going to the front wheel. They are most likely enclosed with rubber boots. These often need changed or serviced on high-mileage vehicles.

My car is having problems with the steering. When the roads are wet, my car wont allow me to turn the wheel to the left. It also makes a screeching sound, as if the belt is rubbing against something. When...

It almost sounds like sever understeer. So bad that on a left turn, the front tires are skidding or plowing, instead of turning the car. You didn't mention what make and model of vehicle you are driving, but it sounds like the front end alignment is out of adjustment. It could be in need of a simple alignment, or there could be worn or damaged parts involved.

The steering wheel began to pulsate left to right and the car pulls hard to the right????

"Fish Tailing"

It sounds like you have bad tie-rods on it . I would have it checked right away if one falls out you will not be able to turn it you would lose control of that wheel.

Vibration

It sounds like a possible bad front wheel bearing they will make like a humming or growling noise. The pull could be air pressure a little lower in the right front tire than the left front check the air in all tires and if pull is still there take the left front put it on the right front and put the right front tire on the left front.Sometimes tires get what they call radial pull and that will fix it or make it go the other way if it goes the other way either get new tires or put the back tires on the front of the vehicle and put the front tires on the back.

Steering/Noise problem

whoa! You have what sounds like a serious front end problem. Jack up the car, use safety stands to support it, block the rear wheels front and back. Look behind the left front wheel, look at the axle boot . Do you see any rips, splits, or grease ? The boot may have torn, letting in road debris which will destroy the axle, causing it to make a rattle or rubbing noise when you turn.. If the boot looks ok all around, grab hold of the tire one hand on the top, one on the bottom, push and pull the tire in opposite directions (top in, bottom out, top in bottom out) and have some one look under the car in the area behind the wheel to see if anything is moving around. Do the same w/ one hand on front of tire (9 oclock position) and back of tire (3 oclock position), and again try to force the wheel in and out, while someone looks underneath for any component that moves around. If the front end is ok, you won't see any movement. You may have a badly worn tie rod or ball joint, this could also cause the car to wander on the highway. Check it asap, as the next step is for something to 'let go' and you can lose control of the car. Let me know what u find. good luck countrycurt0
