My engine light is on

My 1998 Lexus gs400 was running fine. I was low on gas. Started it up, no problem. Try to accelerate with gas petal....nothing. My engine, oil and VSC lights were on the panel. Got gas at nearby station, in case that was the issue. I have never run out of gas. Then, engine started, acceleration okay but engine and VSC lights are still on. No oil light now.

When the check engine light is on it is to alert you to the fact that a trouble code has been stored in the computers memory, there are over 200 such fault/trouble codes so guessing is not an option, u will need to have the OBD 2 engine control system tested and then post the trouble code back here, there will be a code.

I have a 98 Lexus gs400 just got new battery and it ran fine all day now it has to be jumped to start it will not stay started nothing comes on and noticed loud noise coming from relay fuse box. And opened...

First and most important Have the battery disconnected .If there are blue sparks coming from a fuse Thats sparking you need to find out what system the fuse protects and check for a short in that system.Thats whats causing the sparks whether it be in the fuse box or whatever is protecting.

Engine stalls, then runs after pressing accelerator

If you were low on gas at the time, it could have shifted the fuel in the tank when you turned. The engine can stall for a couple of seconds and then restart as the fuel pump primes again.

Try checking the snorkel tube between the air cleaner and the intake. Open the hood, and have a friend try to rev the engine, and watch the tube...my '92's was collapsing and starving the engine, couldn't get more than 3500-4000 rpm. Could also be a fuel pump problem like low pressure or bad line.
