Wont start in the morning it has been doing this since a few weeks now,all the lights go on,but it wont turn over ,horn works and everything else works,just dosent do anything when I turn the key,all dash lights go on, but it just wont start

I would check every single fuse in the car. Blown fuses can cause weird issues like this. While the initial issue with the mechanic does sound like an alarm problem....the rest does not unless the shop that installed it really butchered the job.

I do not know what could have caused this but when i lock my car... ... lock yourdoors with your key fob(might have to hit the lock button twice) ... The alarm/horn should start beeping. ... 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-spec in Karussel White.... My lights flash when I lock it, but the horn doesn't sound.

Flat battery .. replace it an it will be fine

Check your battery voltage, sound to me like your battery cold cranking amps is low. Its enough the power the lights but not turn the engine over. Have the battery replace

try turning off all accessories in the car (radio, ac/heater etc.) then turn the key on for twenty (20) minutes so the computer resets itself. I had a similar problem, and still do from time to time, and I just reset the computer. turn on the key and let it set for 20 minutes then try it again. I hope this helps...

There should be a small black wire going from the battery to the starter motor. It sounds as though it has come loose.
Check it and re connect it.

Try smacking the starter with a blunt object ( hammer or something ) Smack it several times while cranking. It may free up. Listen for the click at the starter. Its prabably a bad starter. Common symptom your describing. If it does start replace the starter.

Check the starter seolonoid, sometimes it clicks that way indicating worn contacts. Have it replace.

first of all, check your code to see what the car computer shows. To do that , insert the key in the ignition and switch it on three time within 2 seconds and the third time live the key in the on position. All the instrument panel lights will lite and the oddometer will display the fault code that may br the cause for your car not starting. goood luck.

This sounds like a weak battery. The lights, horn, etc., are all very small loads. The starter is the hardest item for your battery to push. You can take the battery to an auto parts store and they can perform a "load check". If it shows weak, then let them put the battery in for you. The reason it is harder to start in the morning is, it is the longest time since the battery has been charged, and it is usually cooler in the morning. Batteries hate the cold.
