Re: My check engine light came on suddenly. No weird
If you have turned on the light sensor you have any problems with you but not affecting the operation of the engine you have to check it off the sensor with OBD2 Code Reader

It sounds like your engine is going into the 'limp home' mode, indicating there is a significant emissions equipment malfunction. Is the 'check engine' light on? You can take the car to a decent Auto Parts Store (O'reilly, Autozone, etc) and they will scan for the error code and reset the 'light' and get the car out of 'limp home' if the fault was intermittent. If the light comes back on, the malfunction has to be repaired. Literally dozens of minor malfunctions will cause this. The Federal Emissions Standard laws REQUIRE the 'limp home' mode when the malfunction will cause a significant increase in emissions. The problem could be a loose gas cap or loose vacuum line etc. MAJOR component failures are rare.
Whatever happened, the engine computer sensed it and turned on the light. You will have to have the computer scanned for the trouble codes- a tech or mechanic could then follow the codes to find the problem.
I have the same car, but my engine makes the knocking noise after I turn it off for about two seconds. Has this happened to anyone else? Dealership says it's normal. All this cars make this noise.
No this is normal. This whine you hear is the fuel pump turning to pump fuel. Try not to run it under a 1/4 of tank to much though because if you do and you run out of fuelit can burn the fuel pump out. Chris J.C. Towing
if the car is back firring the timming is off, which means the timming belt might have jumped. you could have a tentioner going bad and that could be the cause or you might be do for a timming belt, for that modle car they say you should do the timming belt every 60,000. that is where i would start.
dear friend-the fact that your car did not switch of for 10 sec means that the fuel did not cut when the ignition was switched of.i think you must have it checked.
P0715 is the imput speed sensor is open or shorted. The P1529 is the transmission control module(computer) requsting the check engine light to turn on. These sensors are prone to going bad.
