I have a 90' 316i BMW with 92,000 miles on it. It has Euro Specs. I can start the car in the morning when it is in park and then through out the day it wont start in park anymore. I have to put it in neutral to start it.What is the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks

Do you get a check engine light? Is it only in the morning or after the the car has been sitting for a while any time of the day? how many miles on the car and where are you located (general area)
it need a full charge just running it about for an hour or two doesent charge it properly also the stalling does this happen when its completley flat if so i have a mercedes and when my battery used to go completley dead i spent a few quid more and bought a desent make as the cheaper ones are rubbish also it can take between 50 to 100 miles for the ecu to reprogram its self after the battery is flat then it should be ok but get the battery charged over a 24 hour perioud first before you check any thing else out hope this helps ivan
battery is bad! check this: when car is running the battery voltage should be at least 14.3 volts or a little higher. when engine is off battery voltage should be at least 13 volts, if the voltage going into battery is below 14 volts when running then alternator is bad. if it is ok then battery needs replaced,
Oil pressure is created by the oil pump, the main bearings and cam bearings. If these bearing are worn, excessive clearance, you will lose oil pressure. The rattling could be a rod bearing or wrist pin. You could try installing a "wet gauge" and check the oil pressure against the OEM specs, at different RPMS.
This happen to me after I got into a small fender bender. The dealership stated this only happens when something is not closed correct (door, hood, etc)
