Door lock problems for 2003 Honda

I also have a problem with my door locks on both sides of my car. Neither work anymore and both sets of my keys will not open them. Has anyone found a way to fix this? I'll be going to the dealer this week to complain. I was almost locked out of my car last week!

I too have manual locks. First the drivers door and now the passenger side.Keys won't work to open them but I can still lock and unlock them from the inside. Locksmiths and autobody guys say it's a common problem with Hondas...

Why don't the rear door locks work anymore?

first is fuses are they good.?
the locks on cars are solenoids.
im guessing all ways to open it fail,
keys, key fobs, and internal controls panels?
no childern locks set (some are hidden on cars)
no drivers, panel , master lock, he pushes it and all locks freeze?
this is a general statement.
so you use a thing like a volt meter. $10 at walfart.
we check for 12vdc across the 2 solenoids.
12vdc when active is good.
0v is bad,
if you get 12v then the solenoid is bad or jammed.
if you get 0v, the controls are bad.
its that simple. and electro magnetic solenoid, is easy to test.
with any voltmeter made.
if the controls are bad we use the same method to check them.
12vdc to the switch it must be.
then you push the rear switch and 12vdc leaves this switch.
if not the switch is bad.(input good)

looks like the computer in the car is not working correctly.
best to unplug the battery negative terminal and leave it disconnected for few hours and then reconnect.

My drivers side door won't open with a key anymore, passenger side works fine. Janette

It sounds like the door lock rod has become detached from the lock rod actuator. The plastic retainer clip that holds it in place can become dislodged causing them to separate. Fixing this problem is not that difficult but, it does require removal of the inner door panel.

Automatic side door will no longer open with remote or console button in car. Also, both side door's locks will not pop up using all of our 3 remotes (1 door is automatic, 1 is manual). Lastly, the back...

Did these doors quit at the same time or over a period. It seems that the actuators for the locks have gone bad. With the mentioned doors, that's a lot weight for the actuators to unlock and pop open. With the remotes and console not working , that's more reason to think the actuators are the problem.

Hi, Somehow the boot of the car has locked

All locking and unlocking is done through the switch on the drivers door lock. Put the key in the drivers door and lock and unlock several times. See if the boot opens then.
Or make sure you haven't hit the lockout button on the drivers door that stops anyone else from opening their doors. (Including the boot.)
