How do i get to the tailights

Open the hatch and locate the 2 plastic covers, behind the tail light area on the inside panel. Remove these covers and the nut (8mm) behind them to access the light assembly. Pull lightly on the light assembly to remove, then replace the bulb.

    Pulling lightly doesn't do it, on the long angled hatchback lights,. Feels like there is another attachment somewhere.

you need to check the switching the switching usually comes from the park pawl asm which is found at the shifter rod on the gearbox. the terminals will be corroded inside
