The drivers side lock assembly fell inside the door. Does anyone know how to remove the door panel so I can fix the lock assembly?
The same thing happened to my 2006 Aveo. Once you do the above find the lock and the screw that holds it in (they will both be in the bottom of the door). Put the lock back in place, put blue Loctite on the screw and screw it back in place and this problem will not repeat itself.
So this happened with my 2007 Aveo and is this the only reason why the lock would fall into the door. I do not want to take the panel off only to find out it is another problem and I need to order a clip or something. Does anyone have a link to an exploded view of the door and lock and what holds the lock in!
