A flat battery at the weekend seems to have stopped my immobiliser from working properly and RAC couldnt jump start it as the engine cut out (they think immobiliser is to blame) on my 2005 Clio 182. Renault said that a flat battery does not impair the immobiliser when i called them.

You'll need to follow the steps with no more than a 1-2 second delay between each step.. hope it works
Hi when the battery has been flat , you need to let the car search for the key code, make sure your battery is charged, then turn the ignition on and leave it for a few mins , dont try start it just leave ignition on, after a few mins turn it off then turn it on again wait for the immobiliser light to go out then start it , this should sort the prob
