It is under the intake manifold it is very easy to replace but it takes a while you have to disconnect the fuel lines, remove the throtle body, remove the fuel injector wiring harness, remove the pcv hose remove the 6 bolts and 4 studs that hold on the intake manifold and take off then the starter should be in plain site and all you have to do is unbolt the starter put the new one on

At times, my 2001 aurora won't start because the bottom radiator hose is leaking on the starter. Is this legit ?

Probably not, as the starter is located under the intake manifold. The alternator could get leaked on, but should not cause it not to start.

1996 olds aurora cooling fans don't work

is it blowing a 40 or 60 amp maxi-fuse located on the passenger side front area of the engine compartment located in the fuse panel? If so i believe 95-96 had the wiring for the fans to close to the exhaust manifold causing the insulation on the wiring to melt which in my case resulted in a dead short off and on blowing the fuse.

1995 Oldsmobile Aurora won't start

if the car sat for two years and was never started.... the motor could very well be seized.... to get at the starter .... is usually done from the bottom. If you can removed the starter... test it to see if it's working.... something else you can try if you can see the starter ... is to tap it gently with a hammer while someone attempts to start it...
