If you mean the pump, you can get by with a good set of metric wrenches. You will also need a drain pan to catch the oil. Turn the belt tensioner to remove the belt. Loosen the bolts holding the pump to the brackets. Loosen both hoses. Be careful not to use a vice grip on the high pressure nut. If it will not loosen with an open end wrench, you may need to use a line wrench. Remove all bolts, disconnect the hoses and remove the pump. Note that most pump pulleys have openings to allow a socket onto any bolts that are behind the pulley. You can do that if you cannot get your wrench on the bolts. If you are reusing the pulley, you can borrow a pulley removal tool from autozone to move it from the old pump to the new.

There is only 4 bolts that hold the pump to the block If you have the 4 bolts removed then hit the hub that the water pump pulley goes on with a hammer. some times you may have to hit it 3 or 4 good whacks. Hope this helps.
there should be holes in power steering pump pulley that when positioned correctly the bole should go through one of those holes, if not then you have to remove the pump
On the 3.4.... Drain coolant, remove drive belt guard, loosen pulley bolts, remove drive belt, remove pulley, remove water pump. Good idea to check the belt for cracks or wear when doing the pump replacement. Reverse the procedure to install.
this happened to me about 2 months ago there are 3 or 4 bolts behind the power steering pump and under the coil packs. there are 11 bolts in all that hold your water pump on some are hard to get to so you are most like likly gunna have to jack it up.
