Turn off switch on top of steering column

  • Robin Pekrul
    Robin Pekrul Oct 15, 2013

No, I know where that switch is and it makes no difference tio the blinking. I can rattle wires and make it stop for about three seconds but then it resumes blinking. The blinking also blinks the lights on the radio which is custom. More solutions, please.

2001 subaru outback parking lights stay on with key off

Go to Autozone, com and register your car on their site. They have fusebox layouts. It sounds like a relay is sticking in the light relays.

I hope my solution is helpful.

I don't know about the 2007's but earlier models have a parking light switch located on the top of the steering column. See if there is a switch there that got moved when cleaning.

Parking lughts wont go off

I had the same problem with my Outback but the solution is very simple, turn off the parking light switch located on the top of the steering column. See chapter 3 page 23 in your owners manual.  This has to be the dumbest and most frustrating feature EVER!

Parking lights won't go off

This happened with my car too. I have a 2005 Legacy. There is a parking light on the steering column. Just turn off the light and you should be in good shape.
