1992 Chevy S10 blazer 4wd (4.3 TBI engine code Z). One of two injectors shuts down and the vehicle stalls (left injector while looking into the engine compartment from the front of the vehicle). I replaced the fuel filter to ensure there was not fuel restriction. I also replaced the injector and the vehicle ran for about 15 minutes before the problem returned. When the engine is cold and I first start it, sometimes both injectors will run, but within 30 seconds of starting the left injector will shut down and the engine will stall.

I can find no s10 with 3.5L engine? If you swapped engines, I'm afraid I can't help you?
I can talk to you about the basics. The fuel injector voltage circuit usually goes hot with the key on. The computer grounds the fuel injector ground circuit. engine cranking, if computer doesn't see rpm signal or there is a problem with security system, where applicable, the computer won't ground the fuel injector.
Purge valve? That is part of the emission system! Nothing to do with injectors. If the injectors are not supplying fuel and the fuel pump/pressure is good, look for a bad fuse. Does the check engine light illuminate during a bulb check? Check power and ground supply to injector harness plug. If no check engine light during bulb check, suspect a fuse/power supply issue
Fuel pressure regulator. It regulates the fuel pressure you receive going to the injectors. All the injectors would not be bad, so you have to take a step back to the next component, which should be the regulator.
It it is TBI (you can see the injector once air cleaner removed) use a torx socket and remove upper plate to TBI unit. If you cannot see the injector it is CPI. Must remove upper intake to access injector.
I had the same problem with my 1992 S10 Pick Up. Found the problem to be with the fuel pump. Replaced the fuel pump and it ran like a charm. The fuel pump is located in the gas tank.
You have TBI, check the two injectors for a "V" or cone style, spray pattern. There shouldn't be any dripping. Also check the TBI assembly for any leaks. The fuel pressure regulator is mount at the rear part f the TBI. If the diaphram is damaged it could cause exsesive fuel to dump into the engine.
