Its probably something as simple as loose sensor that needs reconnecting, but drive the car down to any auto repair shop and they can do a Free OBD and tell you exactly the problem.

Very unlikely, I flashing CEL usually indicates one of 2 things. Either 1-the issue is happening right now or 2- it is doing damage to the catalytic converter. Usually it is a combination between the 2. What are the codes the vehicle has stored in the computer?
Sounds as if security has been activated. Try locking and unlocking doors with key fob to reset. You can also try unlocking/locking doors with key using driver side lock

Did you check the fuse in the under hood fuse box ? GEN / BATT fuse 10amp . Is your check engine light on ? This is a computer controlled charging system , it should have four wires connected to the alternator . 1 - the heavier wire on the back ,this comes fro the starter - the one with fusible link , you could have checked for battery voltage with voltmeter ! The three other wires in the connector are the orange one ,this comes from the GEN / BATT fuse an should have battery voltage ! The last two come from the PCM - engine computer . stabilitrac is from balljoints prob on tire rods of sway bar and altonator runs at 14v and batt runs 12. for it to be dropping to 12 you need to run to auto zone n they can check your alt. or while its runnind take your batt post off batt n if it keeps running your alt is good and if it dies out rite away alt has to be changed
The alternator is out. The ONLY time your vehicle uses battery power (while the engine is turning) is during start up. After that the alternator runs the car.
With the car running put a volt meter on the alternator. Red lead on the big nut on back side if alt. Black lead on the neg batt cable or a good body ground. Voltage should be around 14.5v DC. Then still with engine running, red lead to batt postive, black lead to batt neg. Voltage should read the same. 14.5v DC If not, the alt. Is bad
