Hi guys.im having a problem with my audi. after it sits for half hour or more, and i go to start it ,it has a hard time but eventually will start, but runs like **** on idle for 5-10 seconds.after that it runs perfect.if i turn it off and back on it starts right up.im gettting a code cylinder 1&3 misfire everytime on a cold start.i check all coil packs and they are good.what else could it be?this could be a fuel problem correct? let me mention the spark plugs are brand new also.thank you guys
It might be an injector problem.Sometimes if the injectors are not sealing properly they can leak fuel into the manifold even when the engine is off as there is still residual pressure there and you engine would be essentially' flooded' when you try start it again .After half an hour or so,and it would take some seconds after that to run normally untill the excess fuel is burned.
Have them checked and replaced if needed.
Please leave positive feedback if I have helped
Thanks

Fuel returning to the tank. Get a fuel line non return valve cut the fuel line and connect it up. The origional one is probably in the tank lot of work to replace and any accessory shop should have one.
