My Merc is R reg C180 elegence for some reason interior heater fan
is not working ,cheked all fuses etc they seem to be ok
can any one advice any solutions?

check the trans with the engine running in park, there are two levels on the dipstick, cold and hot, personnaly i like to check it hot, as to the brake problem i need more info
dealer only for merc ,also the ECU will have to programmed which can only be done by mercedes dealer ,the starter and alternator can be cleaned ,ECU is sealed ,not sure about air bag though ,if this is a 2008 model then do not plug a OBDII reader into the connector because it will shut it down and throw the immobilisor on as this is classed as un-authorised access .
If you have a small odd shaped key on the keyring there is a socket under the steering wheel (in the plastic housing) which mine fitted. By turning the key left or right in the socket it resets the light. I found that the flashing light indicated that the alarm had been triggered at some time when I had been away from the car and had switched itself off after a time. If you have this key you could try that.
i was looking for a alternator for my 250d merc go on goggle then find a part its free and within 10 mins got a reply found one delliverd 60 pounds next day thats good hope this helps
