My car is Honda element 2033. question is: where is the noise from on the rear left side above the rear left wheel? which part will cause the noise?
SOURCE: Front Left Sway Bar Link
The front stabilizer shaft (sometimes called a sway bar) is mounted to
the top rear of the frame and to the lower control arm. The shaft is
attached to the frame with clamps and rubber insulators and to the
control arms with insulator links.

Had similar problem with 2003 Dodge GC. Replaced the parts you mention + rack & pinion, then to fix the now noticable whining noise, replaced power steering pump and pulley. Fortunately was under an extended warrentee at 46k miles.

it could just be the under body mud sheld come off, or a wheel bearing on its last legs,,,its a good idear to have it looked at very soon by anybody who knows about cars? not a back street shop?
Testimonial: "Thank you, I thought it might be the wheel bearing. "
SOURCE: how to replace rear sway bar links on a 1999 regal
First remove the tire on its corresponding side position of the side you are going to change.
the easiest way is to remove the pin and nut and that holds the spindle thing on top so you have some kind of slack to play with the sway bar link..then mark the thread of the all one how much deep is it where it connects to the sway bar so you put the one the same or you will need to take for aligment.
Next the remove the pin going through the nut opening...Then you will need to remove the nut that is facing down on the bolt of the sway bar link once the nut is out push the link bar up if it is to tight beat it with a hammer or a mallet from down the bolt to the top but before doing it make sure you got the right part you don't want to beat the all one up and have the wrong part..
Then just put new one in and the same way the old one was and everything should be good from there. Just put everything viceverse of how you started...
You should be good getting the spindle back in place may be hard if you can get someone to help you to push it is going to be lot more easier...'
Good luck. CR
