Headlights both went out last night. High beams work if you hold the passing switch back. Parking lights work in the parking position, but not in the headlight position. All turn signals, back up, and

check your headlight fuse with the switch in the on position. easiest way I have found to rule out a relay is to simply switch it out with another relay.

90 olds royale 88 - where are the relays/fuses? I found them under steering wheel but no headlights fuse...

I dont really see your question as posted.

However, if your headlights are not lighting, you probably need to replace the headlights...

Although power to other outside lights, running, parking, etc...
Would be the listed under EXTERIOR LIGHTS

1991 FORD aEROSTAR. Parking lights will not go off. Disconnected headlight switch, same problem. disconnecting battery for temporary solutin.

relay must have shorted on. Look for a relay in the engine compartment relay box labeled PKLP or PARK. Pull it out and the lights should go out. When you push it back in, it should click. If it doesn't click but the lights come on, the relay is shorted on. Try putting a different realy in the socket to make sure this is the problem. Let me know if you have any questions.
