clean the battery posts and cable terminals till they are shiny, check that the earth cable is tight at the other end, I take it that the battery is ok and fully charged .

Well, they probably did put on either a bad fuel pump or should've done the relay.There is also a fuel pump REGULATOR that can cause a lot of trouble. Make them keep at it,since their work should be warranteed when they say they've fixed it. don-ohio

Hello; Hopefully you can use this info. First , Make sure the washer fluid is not empty. or the connector on the reservoir is intact and proper connection is made. If there is a questionable connection, simply moving it willclear it up. On the re programing suggestion is really not re programing. More like resetting. Obtain an obd2 code scanner and get the diagnostic fault code from the car. This will confirm it is the system you suspect. After completing my suggestion, erase the fault code with the scan tool. If you have corrected the problem , the flashing will stop. Of course, if not the flashing will return and the fault code will again be there to read.. Question? Do these systems work regardless of lights flashing? I ask because if not, the light is indicating a system failure. If they do work the light is an alert of system discrepancy that is usually a maintenance issue. Peas keep me informed on the findings and feel free to seek my assistance through fix-ya. Have you checked for your DTC code?? The code may help you address the issue that is keeping your engine from starting.

ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS

1. Cycle the ignition key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 5 seconds. To cycle the ignition key ON means to turn it only as far as it takes to get the radio to come on. It does not mean to turn the engine on.

2. Count the number of times the "check engine" lamp on the instrument panel flashes on and off. The number of flashes represents the code. There is a slight pause between the flashes representing the first and second digits of the code. Longer pauses separate individual codes. For example, flash-flash-flash [pause] flash-flash represents the code 32.

A code of "55" represents end of error codes. If this is all you get then no error codes are stored in the computer. This is the normal condition for a neon.

Get the fluid level checked on the gearbox, also look around the slave cylinder for any damp.

It may need a service on the gearbox, not expensive.
Try this if no joy get back to me.

If this is a new vehicle, you should have an owners manual with it; it would have that information in detail.
