I'm looking too. I have a 1995 model.

The blower continued to run after the engine was switched off. Had to removed battery cable to stop it. Reconnected cable, it ran fine for 1 more time. Replaced climate control panel in dash. Looked at all fuses under dash above brake pedal and at firewall under hood. Dont know if the blower relay switch is one of the relays on firewall, but if there is a relay switch behind glovebox, it would be great news. I pulled the blower and "hot-wired" it and it runs fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

There is a blower motor resistor that needs to be changed. You can get it at auto zone for around 25 bucks. I just changed one on my 03 tahoe.

Try replacing oil pressure switch. Your oil pressure switch controls fuel pump. (safety issue) in case of roll over or accident so fuel pump doesn't run while engine stalled or of.

The heater blower isnt working in my honda civic. i have replaced the control panel thinking it was that, but it still does not work there seems to be a live feed to the blower unit.i took the blower unit...

Check fuses 13 and 37. Also check relay and resistor. The relay is usually in the engine compartment relay box. It should click when the blower switch is turned on. The resistor will show signs of burning if it's bad.

RESISTOR REMOVAL & INSTALLATION The blower resistor is located on the front of the blower housing.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove box assembly, if required.
  3. Disconnect the resistor wire connector.
  4. Remove the resistor attaching screws.
  5. Remove the blower motor resistor.
  6. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  7. Install the glove box if it was removed and connect the negative battery cable.

Where the relays ac of a 1995 cadillac deville is locate the blower of the a/c dosen't stop when i turn off the a/c

Hello. Will do my best to help, You have this listed as a 1998 DeVille, in the verbage you say its a 1995. okay if the blower motor continues to run when you turn the key off then regardless of the year model the electronics in the blower motor has failed and it will have to be replaced. If its running with the key off you can disconnect it under the hood. It is located just off center to the driver side. It has a 3 wire connector this will keep the battery from going dead. Hope this helps. Thanks

1995 Ford Thunderbird - Engine won't turn off

Pull the 60amp fuse in the fuse box near the battery. You'll find it. That will shut off the motor. Remove the neg ground on the battery to shut off the rest of the car and save the battery,
It sounds like the ignition lock actuator. It goes from the ignition key switch to the Yellowish ignition switch box, under the dash on the column. It pushes the ignition switch to start and pulls it back to stop and lock. If you remove the 2 hex screws on the yellowish ignition switch and let it hang down, you will see a rod sticking out of the top. It's a slider. Push the slider toward the engine and it starts. Toward the drivers seat, and it shuts off the car. Check this out.
