around 2 1/2 psi the carbys float closes off the fuel supply the pressure rises and the pump stops, volume is more important then pressure to keep the carbys float chambers full.

You should find all 1275 BMC engines should give you the timing specs you want as the late Mini should be the same also.

Plug gap is 25 thousandth of an inch, tighten hand tight then quarter turn more, good idea to put a little copper ease grease on thread,

Bore X stroke on the old Clubman 1275cc (Engine codes 12A and 12 H) is 70.61mm X 81.28mm

or download the diagram free still from autozone.com you may have to create a logon and password Vehicle specific and better than a haynes or chilton ---still easier to ask here first on problems though
why chop into your harness ---if you do check the auto parts store for cheap weather tight connectors
