If it uses GDI engine, you need to scan for errors.

SOURCE: water in the radiator reducing everyday in mitsubishi pajero IO

Good chance it's the plastic coupling linking the rear heater area and the front of the truck. It's a small Y-coupling. Breaks and leaks all the time. Easily exposed to everything, like snow and ice kicking up.

your car is direct injection the same principle as diesel engine injectors system witch is very sensitive to the amount of pressure generated from fuel pump

Can anybody help me with the difference between the crank sensor plug and the front coil plug on a pajero io 1800

Coil plugs, (coil pack?), are usually on the top of the engine connected to the spark plugs.
The crank sensor is located on the bottom section of the engine usually somewhere near the bottom pulley that the timing belt goes around.

Hi I have pajero IO imported from Japan. The car would turn on a "check engine" if not use for days. When a negative of the battery is taken off, the check engine gets off and the car starts. However

Get a voltmeter or take your battery in to a shop and have it tested to see if it is putting out too much voltage. Sometimes when you take the negative cable off the battery to reset codes, the car has to be started and ran a short distance for a handful of times in order for the computer to reset itself.

Pejero engine turns over but wont fire check engine warning lamb stays on

For check engine light on,its definitely error code stored in the cars computer.,Getting the error code scanned by OBD 1 scan too, is advisable.
