Depends on the motor, but you should find it on the motor air intake piping near the MAF sensor and throttle body. Just disconnect the electrical plug on it and go from there.

That may help. Also check for fouled plugs. Also check the fuel pressure regulator on fuel rail, check for vacuum at the regulator.

SOURCE: 2000 silverado 1500 4.8 bank 1 and bank 2 to lean how can i fix

I have a 2001 Silverado 1500 with the 4.8 that had the same error codes. It turned out to be intake manifold gaskets were bad. With the engine running spray some carb cleaner on the intake where it bolts up to the heads and listen for the engine to speed up. If it does you've got a leak. With mine I couldn't find the leak with the carb cleaner but after I replaced the gaskets the problem was solved. Hope this helps.

2004 chevy cavalier it is idling real high

Check your map sensor. Your iac sensor and your throttle body position sensor. Then check vacuum. I'm having a similar problem and I've checked those. Unfortunately I might have a timing issue. Hopefully your problem isn't as big as mine lol
