2007 BMW 328i has no ground signal to the injector relay. Does the CAS supply this ground?

  • J Rosado May 30, 2019

I meant to say, test the injector signal and the ignition coil signal for spark.

The crankshaft position sensor would signal for both spark and fuel injector. If both those are missing, check the sensor circuit.
Test the signal with a noid light or a 12 volt LED test light, check the harness also for faulty connections.
This injector signal duration is in milliseconds, volt meters and incandescent test lights will not work for testing.

Testimonial: "Not the problem, there is no ground to the fuel injector relay. I by passed it and the car runs."

Ground will come from DME but with authorization from CAS. You may just have to do a DME CAS sync. Your problem will be solved easily. If you have FVDI, DELPHI, AUTEL , INPA, SNAP on SOLUS and many other tools. its a simple job

Autel will do under service functions. it would be called DME cas alignment, or DME CAS sync depending on the tool you are using. but 100 percent this will solve your problem. I have vast experience in key programming and coding

SOURCE: doors on 2007 BMW 328i will not unlock

hey solo, 06-07 door lock actuators can blow a fuse in the glove box. bmw does have a specific bulletin that addresses this issue and requires replacing the fuse if blown and measure the resistance of all the door lock actuators to determine which is bad. the doors should be able to be opened with the key mechanically. if not for some reason, you should be able to comfort open the windows and will have to crawl inside the car. the fuse panel is inside the glove box and not fun to get to. I believe the fuse is a 10 or 15 amp fuse maybe 5th from the bottem right.

SOURCE: remote key does not open the door for 2007 328i BMW

I suggest you to check fuse # 57 15Amp at juction box, you can access it from glove box. if the fuse is blown, replace it with 20A and try to operates lock/unlock 10X and replce door lock fails to responce during the operation. dont operate lock/unlock 15X the system will stop and you have to wait for few min to function it again.

Optional Tools:
- car jack
- monkey (to hold your work lights)

5) Remove bumper by uncliping each side and then pulling bumper forward

Foglights will stay in place. simply disconnect the cable.

2011 BMW 328i. Yellow exclamation mark, won't crank new battery installed and CAS module relay replaced. I don't know what else to do. Any recommendation?

When you disconnect the battery, it causes the anti-theft system pairing to break. On reconnecting the battery, the key and transponder chip need re-pairing. There are some ideas in the link, but with a BMW your best bet is to call a mobile auto-electrician or an auto locksmith. They both have pro grade scan tool computers that can reset the anti-theft system and diagnose any other electrical issues.

2007 bmw 328i water pump problem

If it has an electric pump you should hear or see water flowing when car is turned on. If not, check any fuses or relays for the pump, and there is probably temp sensor controlling the pump. The main thing is to make sure any fuses and relays are working before tearing the pump out.
