May want to try a longer handle ratchet or breaker bar. Also use a six point socket its less likely to round off the cap.
SOURCE: Replace lighting behind the heater controls
Yeah , something would have broke for real had you pried it any more.
There is a bulb just below the control panel that lights the panel up... and more screws to remove to access it. The ones behind the knobs need to be replaced ( they hold the switches to the face plate), and you need to unscrew the ones behind the trim and above the ash tray.
The trim comes off in one piece (held by clips).
SOURCE: Major oil leak after oil change
Your filter was installed either without the rubber seal, or the seal wasn't lubed before installation and it slipped, causing an improper seal. You will have to drain the oil again, remove the filter, and make sure it is reinstalled with a proper seal.

Not unless you can reach it from the top. make sure you put some WD-40 on the bolts so they come off easy next time.
SOURCE: wheel stuck on hub won't come off.
That kind of thing happens a lot and I work in a auto-shop. The corrosion builds up on the hub and swells up in the middle of the rim. 1. Put all lugnuts back on, leave them half way off. 2.Keep kicking the tire from the backside until it pops off the hub. Don't worry, you can't damage the rim by kicking it yourself. (Unless your the incredible hulk.lol ) The lugnuts will keep the tire from falling on the brake components when it comes off the hub.
SOURCE: where is the oil filter located on a cadillac srx
Directly under the engine. You'll see a large smooth portion under there that looks like the underside of a bath tub and on the lowest portion of that is a bolt. Thats your oil reservoir where you drain your oil. The filter should be located near that pointing toward the front of the vehicle. GM OEM filters are usually black but could be white and are almost always 3" filters so a filter wrench that fits a 3" filter will get it off without problem.
