SOURCE: 2002 oldsmobile alero Security lock no fuel gets to engine
Hi, I just read somewhere on the WWW that the crank sensor and or fuse can be a issue. I too have a 2002 Alero.. Worst car I have ever owned!
SOURCE: my problem is SRS light
The most common cause of an air bag warning light on your model car is the "clock spring" has failed. A clock spring is available at most national auto parts chain stores and of course any Honda dealer. There is no danger the bag will go off, but it may malfunction in an accident. The clock spring is the enclosed device inside the steering column just below the steering wheel. It is the device that allows one to turn the steering wheel and have a circuit that remains intact to deploy the drivers side air bag (if triggered) regardless of the clocked position of the steering wheel. If you are not comfortable replacing inflatable restraint systems parts, I recommend you go to a qualified independent mechanic in your area. On post-1996 cars and trucks, you should be able to hook up an OBD II scanner and get the fault codes. If you get a code that indicates Driver-Side Air Bag Circuit - High Resistance or Open in Circuit, that code would refer to the clock spring. If you need help with the codes and what they mean, just come back here and we will try our best to help. Good luck and let us know if you have any follow up questions!

Typicaly the security system won't look up the steering wheel, try putting the keys back in and at the same time you try to start the car, shake the wheel back and forth. If this don't cure your problem, and you still feel that this is a security problem , you can try to reset it. The most common way that I know of to reset on a GM product is to turn the keyto the on postion and leave it there for 15 min then shut back off, due this three times, then try to start the car.
SOURCE: tried earlier no success. Just
I HAVE ACTUALLY MADE THIS MISTAKE MYSELF BEFORE. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE STEERING WHEEL BACK OFF AND CHANGE THE CLOCK SPRING A.K.A. AIRBAG COIL. THE CLOCK SPRING KEEPS THE AIRBAG IN CONTACT WITH IT'S CIRCUIT WHEN STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED... TRUST ME THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM. HOPE I HELPED.......
