I own a 2016 KIA Optima Hybrid and recently my right headlight went out. I changed the bulb thinking it blew out but it was not it. What can I do or has anyone gone through this that could help. Thank you

SOURCE: how do you change the right front headlight bulb on a kia sedona

Remove the headlight assembly. Just remove the 3 bolts with a 10 mm socket and pull it out so you can disconect the wire harness. After that pull the whole assembly out and unscrew the bulb cover. The bulb is held in with a spring clip.

SOURCE: How do you replace a Drivers side headlight bulb 2006 kia spectra

Helps to remove the battery, but small ahbds can do it.

Directly behind the lens is a big round cap ... twist it off. The bulb is held in place with a spring that locks in to a notch in the holder. When handling the new bulb, don't touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to shatter when turned on.

I need a fuse box schematic for a 2016 Kia Optima-the one under the hood as well as in the lower dash. Having trouble finding one. Thanks!

Is it a fuse box diagram you are after or a wiring diagram? Try this website for the fuse box layout. The optima model changed in 2016 so the earlier version can be selected at the top of the web page.

Headlights on my 2011 kia optima are on but you cant see anything driving at night. Changed bulbs made no difference

Are the plastic headlight covers clear or not. Typically after a few years they have a pitted surface which does not let the light through. They need to be polished if that is the case. Many auto parts stores sell the product to do this.

Why do my taillghts goout when i turn on my headlights

Are they on when your headlights aren't on? they shouldn't be. Maybe you just blew both bulbs, and you notice when you turn your head lights on. Your brake lights and tail lights are 2 different bulbs on that car.

Headlight burned out on drivers side

had to replace a few headlights on my optima also, i spoke to a few people who own kia's and it seams to be a problem most of us have, and if one goes, it wont be long until the other one follows, make sure you use kia bulbs for replacement, i tried other bulbs and they dont always give off the proper amount of light.

May headlights went out on my 2005 kia optima

It could be a fuse bad connection to the lamps or the switch itself

Headlight change

He is right you do have a belt that works the timing chain that is located in the block attached to the cam. but all cars have timing chains in the block so you may want to look into that with the dealership or ask around if it would be a good idea to replace it. I know neons need them but i think Kias may also need it also.

And Q 2 is there a wiring harness on the back of the light assembly Cus with the new cars they just need to replace the bulb in side the light housing and if thats the case then you need the get the light bulb for your car and then just twist out the harness part it should be a black area with wires going into it and then twist it to get it out.
