The head gasket part is worth more than the entire truck. How'd you keep a 133-yr old truck from rusting out?

Well you can buy a new & cheaper car or either you can try to replace the head gasket.

no should be same engine. check your engine mounts and tranny mount. how bad a vibration? sometimes after installing engine the trans gets shifted around and if mount was worn it will allow it to hit crossmeber and vibrate.

Remove motor mount bolts and rear transmission crossmember bolts or nuts,suppport engine/trans. see if u have enough clearance between pan and axle remove pan. if not, split the exh away from the manifolds. worth a try

Yea Rick got it a few years ago for 800.00 all the maintenance receipt were there the guy said the 4 wheel drive didn't work but it was just the vacuum line off the accuator was spli. I fixed it and everything was good until it got hot and I think blew a head gasket.no rush cause it's from Arizona
