The fuel filter is located in the fuel pump. So you have to remove the fuel pump. The OEM Part # is WFL000010. Hope this helps.

you can by pulling the ecm fuse for a minute, beware pulling the wrong fuse may disable other components like the radio

if you nearly ran it out you may have sucked up some contaminates into the fuel filter..this will cause loss of pressure.. may need to change the filter..
