It could be that your thermostat isn't fully opening when the engine is warm.

Friend, you don't just clear the outside of the radiator of debris that hampers air flow, you also must clear anything hampering fluid flow. Backflushing the radiator may take care of your situation. Take the lower hose off the water pump and connect a garden hose to it. Disconnect the upper hose from the engine and direct it towards the ground and turn the garden hose on to do this backflush for 15 or 20 minutes and it should clear the radiator. by forcing most if not all foreign material from the core.

SOURCE: oil cooler line

There should be two tranny lines going into the radiator. That means there should be a total of 6 hoses going into the radiator.
Hope it helps.

SOURCE: My Volvo is overheating and mixes the engine oil

the oil that you are seeing may be transmission fluid if its an automatic, the transmission lines go through the radiator for cooling.if the radiator fails in that section ,it could be leaking into the antifreze,or you have a blown head gasket

SOURCE: does my 1997 blazer 4.3 radiator have a oil

Look on engine side of the radiator, you will have two line's going into the radiator at each end one end will be transmission line's and at the other end will be oil cooler line's if you only have them at one end only then no oil cooler.Hope this was very helpful.

SOURCE: 99 suburban leaking from oil cooler fitting on radiator

It sounds like you might have a crack in the plastic tank of the radiator. If the line was leaking, I would think you'd see some oil leaking. Any anti-freeze leaking? When the truck is cooled down, I'd check the anti-freeze and oil level.

I have the vehicle checked my honda CRV. It does not have external transmission cooler, the radiator does the cooling. How do I stop transmission overheating, without installing externer cooler?

replacing the radiator might help because if the cores are partially blocked the cooler cannot do the job
take it to an accredited transmission service center and have the bans and clutch packs adjusted
check that the transmission is not up past the full line as that will also over heat a transmission
it is advisable to consider the external cooler as it makes the transmission run probably 100 degrees cooler than a radiator cooler
for example with a radiator cooler the oil is at engine operating temperature ( 95-100 C) but with external cooler , the ambient temp rarely gets over 45 c so that is cooling the oil by 40 c even before the transmission starts to work
it also allows the radiator to be more efficient for the engine

My Ford explorer get overheathing and radiador is full of oil but motor oil is clean?

if you have oil in radiator then there is a high chance of a head gasket being blown or the head is warped in the engine

. A compression test by a mechanic could verify this possibility.

Rick is correct in his answer but the suspected spots are the oil cooler hoses from the radiator back to the oil filter adapter the pressure switch on the adapter and since you say both sides it should be the oil cooler lines good luck and powder up the lines and fittings and have someone else start the engine while your looking for the leak

Leaking oil and overheating after I hit a raccoon. the radiator and oil filter is a little banged up but appears fine other than that. But behind the radiator there is oil everywhere.

sounds like a cracked cooler. Is the coolant leaking out too? there may be a independant oil cooler that was infront of the rad, and is now damaged. Shampoo the engine compartment with a good degreaser, and run the motor for ten minutes if it will drive without overheating, find the source of the leak, some residue oil may still be left, so check well.

I got engine oil inside my cooling system, I believe it came from the oil cooler, I need to clean the cooling system from all the oil before I start running the car, what should I use to get rid of the oil...

Get a turkey baster, all the oil will float to the top, and you can **** it out with that. I would get an oil cooler that goes outside the radiator and run the lines into it, stop the oil from getting in there, you will have to plug the old lines together at the radiator, to keep the water in. If that is where the leak is, if it isn't, then you have a blown head gasket somewhere, check for steam coming out the exhaust while driving, keep an eye on the temp gauge, don't let it overheat. Hope this helps.

2001 F-250 Super duty V-10 small amount of oil in radiator

oil in a radiator indicates that the transmission oil cooler in the radiator tank has failed and leaking transmission oil into the radiator
there are 2 possible fixes
fix one is a new radiator
fix 2 is to give the radiator oil cooler a miss altogether and opt foe an air cooler mounted in front of the radiator
the advantages here are that the radiator then has a bigger capacity to handle the engine heat as there is no hot transmission oil adding to the engine heat
the second advantage is that the transmission oil is being cooled to ambient temp and not engine temp which makes for longer transmission oil life
the disadvantage is that it cost a bit more than a radiator initially but the long term savings are real
oil to air oil coolers are available from auto transmission shops and quality auto spares shops
