By pass clutch signal by appling +12vdc to A/C clutch directly - check for proper suction side pressure with A/C gauge connected to suction side of compressor - if pressure is low clutch will not be energized do to low pressure cutout switch. Add freon or 134A to bring up suction side pressure. https://www.6ya.com/callphilipforhelp

SOURCE: Clutch Sometimes Slipping in 4th and 5th gears!

Hi Jackiaria

Unfortunately you have a hydraulic clutch, which is self adjusting on your car.

The problem you are experiencing is the excessive wear to your clutch, or oil contamination on the clutch plate.

Both these problems can only be fully diagnosed once the gearbox is removed and the clutch is inspected.
There is also a possibility of excessive wear, or scoring, on the flywheel surface, the longer you drive the vehicle with a slipping clutch, possibly requiring the flywheel to be skimmed.

Shop around for a best price, and a trustworthy garage !

Good Luck !

A FixYa rating would be Nice....Thanks.....John.

SOURCE: air conditioning

If there is no r-12 or freon in the system it wont come on. Try jumping the pressure switch. It's a 2 wire plug somewhere one the AC lines. Just pull it off and jump the wire end with another wire.If the clutch engages you need freon or R-12.

SOURCE: 2003 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Check engine light, code PO133

Did you use a aftermarket O2 sensor or a genuine Hyundai one? If it's an aftermarket one it may be bad or not as good as the OEM one. See here for more details and other potential causes: P0133

SOURCE: need fil for error code P2626 Hyundai Elantra GLS

P2626 O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit/Open (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I'll sure this has to do with a faulty O2 sensor. This sensor is usually located around the header of your car, or down more on your exhaust.

Try disconnecting your battery for 30 mins, hook it back up, and start your car again. This will erase the error. See if it comes in again.

Hope this help (remember rated this post).

I have vibration in the clutch pedal when shifting while in motion. A clutch kit was put in: didn't solve problem. Clutch and trans work fine.

Was the flywheel surfaced or replaced? if surfaced , it may have not been surfaced flat. some are two step and have to be within tolerances. If you took this to a garage, take it back. They misdiagnosed it. Tell them to make it right. You already paid.

My cooling fan will not turn off. 2001 Hyundai Elantra GLS 2.0 l engine

1. Check the scan data for engine temperature to see if it shows that the engine is running hot. The ECM will turn the A/C relay off if it thinks that the engine is overheating. Check engine coolant temp sensor

2. Test voltage at the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) pin 50 (Yellow) and pin 58 Yellow/Black. Both should have battery voltage when the system is turned on and the engine is running. If not, then the wiring needs to be checked.

3. If battery voltage is present on the two pins, then manually ground pin 68 (Orange) at the PCM and this should ground the A/C relay and the clutch should engage.

4. If it does, verify that the PCM powers and grounds and connections are good.

Hyundia 2012 elantra touring wipers not parking, it has a bosch wiper motor, can't see any fixable parts?

The module is in the wiper motor. Replace it. Look at the plug ends first, you might be able to clean them up and get extra life from the motor. Look for white to green colors. Battery terminal cleaner works good on these.

Hyundai 2003 elantra GLS airbag light

A malfunction in the air bag system won't cause any driveability issues. There are many parts to the supplemental restraint system that could put the air bag light on. The computer needs to be scanned to figure out what part of the system needs to be checked. Usually it's not the air bag itself that is the problem, but more likely a clock spring in the steering column, broken wire somewhere or even an impact sensor. If this is something you want to get repaired you may have to bring it into a repair shop. Keep in mind your not limited to dealers though, many independent repair facilities are capable of diagnosing and repairing air bag problems.
